It was the most unlikely of introductions I’ve ever had with a client.
As business owners we do our very best to ensure that we give credit to each vendor involved when we share images on social media; but not everyone plays by that rule. A local venue who hadn’t always given credit or tags had shared a beautiful image from a photographer. Mark (the groom here) replied with “photographer?” … in which I liked it because I thought “hey, this guy also notices that they’re not tagging people and I like that he’s calling them out on it, lol”. A few hours later I got a PM on Instagram from him asking if I was the photographer as he was looking for a photographer for his wedding. Things lead from there, and I met up with this amazing duo a few weeks later for a consultation. They walked in the coffee shop doors, and besides the fact that Liz is drop dead gorgeous, I fell in love with these guys in a hot second. They were incredibly easy to talk to, and we had fun talking about their upcoming wedding plans.
We planned their session at Liz’s family home in the Collingwood area. The two love to spend a lot of time there in the summer, catching sunsets on the patio with a glass of wine. So that’s exactly what we did for their session, and I love how their story plays out in these images.
