The most magical wedding day spent on the water with a truly admirable couple.
Until their wedding day, I had not met neither Lauren or Keith. Lauren was living in Ottawa, while her RCMP officer fiancee was living in Newfoundland. We connected over her wedding details on Skype and I felt like I was connecting with an old friend. We laughed and the conversation just flowed over discussing the highs and lows of planning a wedding, and I loved listening to her gush about Keith and their wedding plans.
Their wedding was held at the always stunning JW Marriot on Lake Rosseau on the long weekend of September, with sunny skies and blue water setting the backdrop. Her gown by Paloma Blanca was absolutely jaw dropping. The plunging back and delicate lace had be like whoa. The jewels, and her antique “something blue” ring from her grandmother pulled the whole look together and will likely always be my most favourite “something blue” that I’ve ever seen! Seasons in the Country absolutely nailed the florals and I loved the simplicity in the green and white bouquets.
There is always a standout, or favourite moment from each wedding I photograph, and for me the standout was their “first look”. Lauren picked the white hallway as their reveal location and the tender moments that unfolded were so beautiful.
