Before they became a beautiful family of four, they were a super cute family of three! I had photographed sweet little Kane when he was just a teeny newborn and had kept in touch their his mama Nicole since then. I was really happy when she reached out to me to photograph their maternity/family session. We hit up two local “hot spots” in Alliston, and although it was cool in the forest, it made escaping to the open fields full of sunlight all the better. Their beautiful daughter entered the world weeks later, so keep your eyes posted for that session down the road <3
This family is the just the bees knees. Some of the kindest people I’ve had the honor of working with over the years, and so it was sooooo wonderful to photograph them as they became parents. They welcomed me into their home to meet their beautiful daughter Olivia and photograph them in their first days home. Their fur-daughter Ellie was beyond cute and cooperated just long enough for us to get her in some of the photos.
You’ll recognize these sweet faces as just a few posts back I shared their engagement session! Jason and Sandi got married on St. Patrick’s day; and if I’m being honest that made me nervous. If you know me you’ll know I’m not about kitschy wedding theme’s or anything of the sorts, and I was worried that green was going to be thrown up all over everything (even with it being my favourite color, lol). Once I read Sandi’s wedding questionnaire though my nerves were settled, and when I showed up to her parents house on the morning of her wedding I was thrilled to see all her beautifully curated wedding plans come to life. He bouquet was one of my favourites for my 2017 wedding season; the pops of the blue thistle were so perfect for their winter wedding. It also had rosemary placed in it which gave it such a beautiful scent. Sandi made for a GORGEOUS bride in her wedding gown (I mean look at that detailing at the top of her Maggie Sottero gown *swoon*).

These folks are the real deal. I’ve photographed their big milestones from the very beginning. From their jaw dropping wedding in the Muskoka’s, to big brother Jack; it was just the best to see them again and get little brother Connor behind my lens! Equally as beautiful a baby as his big brother Jack, he worked his way through his first photo session with ease. Be sure to work your way through this whole post because the photos of his big brother holding him are painfully adorable and make me smile each time I see them!
From maternity photos, to big sister Macy’s newborn photos, to new sister Walker’s photos. I’ve been lucky enough to get this family behind my lens a few times and it’s always a pleasure to photograph them in their beautiful home. Lifestyle sessions are much more relaxed then your typical newborn session, and really document what the “first days” look like in your home. I think it ought to be pretty special to look back at these photos down the road and have your home be the background of the story these images tell.
