Krystian & Becky’s Wedding // Orillia Wedding Photographer
These sweethearts. This day. It was a really really good one.
I began my day by stopping in to photograph what the guys were up to! It’s not very often that scheduling lines up and allows for me to photograph the gentlemen in the morning, and I loved having the opportunity to style the grooms details & watch the guys goof around. I then drove off to Northbrook Farm, and gosh you guys, it stole my heart the moment I stepped out of my car. The gardens, the landscape, the beautiful heritage home, the details everywhere are truly extraordinary. It’s one of those venues that you step foot onto, and feel like you’re home. So much so that I spoke to my sister shortly after and told her it was her dream venue (and sure enough, she’ll be getting married here in 2021)! I walked into to find a cheery group of girls getting ready, snuggling up with the bride, and counting down til they could peer out the window to watch Krystian and Becky’s first look. The whole day flowed with ease, and I had so much fun photographing their bridal party. I knew it was a young fun group so I brought a bottle of champagne for them to pop and enjoy and I love the photos that came from it. As always, I have my favourite moments of each wedding I photograph. Usually I can narrow it down to one, but for these two I have top two moments. The first being their first look and reveal (you’ll know what I mean when you see the photos below) as Krystian melted into a puddle seeing Becky. I love when couples leave time in their schedule to really soak in some key moments of the day, and so my second favourite moments were all of the emotional moments that followed as their bridal party and close family shared hugs with them immediately following their ceremony (also see below)!
